I didn't want to go into all these superflous details, but you asked. Anyways, by a simple, intuitive, calculation you come basically to a simple conclusion - the number of transistors you can afford to cram up into a "drone" is equivalent to the calculation power of a cockroach or a wasp when compared to a human. It will take decades for making it a mere possibility (computational power is nothing without advanced software and arrangement that would provide efficient A.I.).
