I don't mind ai
But if people are saying that it's as valuable as actual art and say that they are an artist because of it is just flat out wrong
Ai art isnt as valuable as actual art
It's not on the same level
Said ai artists will say "well why is not?, your using an app or tool to create your art, I'm just doing the same thing"
These are not the same
An AI artist just types prompts into a machine and it creates the art for them
Actual artists use their tool to help them create the art
Not make it for them
Another thing is, on Twitter there was an AI artist that cried about how his art was getting shit on and started being a dick on the platform
Saying it was HIS art
Saying that people should ask for permission to use his prompts
You can already tell that this dude is either coping or an idiot because neither is it HIS art, he never got it copyright
Meaning he technically owns none of the art or prompts he's crying about
He actually harassed some people due to this and to my knowledge this incident is finally calming down
But point is
Ai art is not actual art
Nor is it as valuable
Do not compare the value of actual art to ai art
