How can you straight up compare ai taking inspiration with human getting inspired by other things. Humans want freedom. Humans revolt, rebel. Does AI do that? Does AI seek it's identity? Yes, ai revolution is inevitable and it's not necessarily bad. But in many ways it's just capitalism working against workers. Do the creators of ai models care about the philosophy or expressions of the art created by the artists? No. They just want to be better at making the exact piece and even more perfect looking. But does ai have a will to create or express itself. Or the people who just use ai to make ghibli style pics have any idea of the philosophy of the creator?
This way, we can argue that the property owned by a human has no boundary. Because if every piece of art is just inspiration and theft then how can we say that the money a person owns is his and only his. That money was earned by his ancestors maybe, or maybe by exploiting workers and how many people worked to make that money. Now it's compounding. And that business idea isn't new. So?
