Or kill the future engineer that saves the entire world from self destruction where if it weren’t for such a one each individual would destroy themselves anyway.
If you kill the 5 serial killers, the engineer dies also being of their future lineage
If you sacrifice the engineer instead the killers still live but the engineer never lives…
