This is very true, I work in Radiology and it has already made a huge positive impact with picking up missed diagnostics, humans after all are only human, whilst most radiologists are excellent highly trained individuals, they are as fallible as any of us. I believe there are only a few extremely positive reasons to further develop AI, with unfortunately many negative and dangerous reasons to not. However this being said, AI should and will revolutionise medicine, especially with diagnostics and new drug development. If only we can regulate where the AI is going and not let it become a free for all, potentially being used to destroy us. Just my thoughts.
