Something directly countering when they say “To show the world that *I* can also do this activity” is the fact that THEY don’t do it, they tell AI to do it for them. Yeah, AI lets them use “talent” to make art themselves, but even then that doesn’t mean the user themselves gains any talent or skill, they just use something else’s “skills” instead.
