I do believe basic universal income is not if but when it will happen. My issue is 500-1000 a month won't replace a full time job and if AI displaces you and you can'tfind a new job might aswell wipe your ass with that basic universal income. I work in finance and I have been warning people since AI and Automation example tesla for awhile now don't get left behind because the gap of the haves and have nots Is only going to get wider and more brutal. I just hope it doesn't fall into full blow civil unrest because than it won't matter what you have.
