The blueprint is the computer revolution that started in the 80's/90's. Tons of people lost their jobs to computers and we survived. All those phone operators, bank tellers, secretaries, etc. found employment in new jobs that were born out of the computer revolution. Programmers, computer manufacturers, web developers, etc. There is no reason not to believe the AI revolution will not be similar. The real problem is to not make the problem worse in the mean time by offshoring jobs and brining in temporary foreign work. China was not brought into the WTO until 2001 and it took a minute for that to impact things. I don't remember hearing of temporary foreign workers in the 90's and early 2000's. That is why we were relatively unscathed by the computer revolution.
