This is gonna go the same way it did with music. It’s all about gating. Once the market to “pay to train” takes off and it becomes the defacto way for labs to train LLMs, and it becomes a trillion dollar market, everyone will chill on the copywright debacle. Let’s not forget people are still pirating music/movies/tv-shows.
