As long as buying anything digitally doesn't mean you own it, there could be no theft of anything in the internet. And it's good. Internet is not a real life.
Game publishers delete games and block the access to play them. Other digital content given access to as service. Subscription models implemented everywhere.
You pay to access internet but you can't own it, much like everything else in there. So people whining about AI AND people whining about games(or movies, or whatever ) have one thing in common - they are stupid. AI art isn't stealing anything, same as google algorithm scanning every other picture artists decide to upload on the internet. AI is just another algorithm scanning content throughout internet, and you can talk with it by using various types of APIs. Some other algorithms steal your personal data 24/7, and it isn't something people seem bothered about at this point. Internet consists of a lot of such algorithms and AI is one of them, get used to it or leave the internet.
