The best AI art can be is pretending that it's not AI art. Whenever I come across an image I find intriguing, the second it turns out to be AI generated all my curiosity for that piece fades instantly leaving me feeling regretting I had even an interest in it because why should I hold any value to an artwork with no effort or act of desire put into it in the first place, voided from all outside factors. That image being the cumulation of a half hearted result of what was shat out by an AI algorithm. To me that end result just rings hollow and lifeless, the antithesis of what art is. Though saying that the scope of what is considered to be art is vast, my ploblem with AI art is how forced it is on people by the annoying AI Disciples shoving it everywhere while proclaiming it's a revolution for people in never needing to create art themselves again. This seems to be why Arkham Asylum is seemingly so quiet. P/s No matter how advance AI algorithms get they can never create an image like: 'You know I had to do it to 'em'.
