I’m going to kindly disagree and I don’t think that AI needs to be controlled. I do think it needs like safeguards, but it shouldn’t be banned. I feel like it’s the best invention ever. It’s already helping me think more like a scientist and expanding areas of my knowledge that I’m lacking due to the Dunning-Kruger effect. I’m using AI to make myself smarter to become a better writer to practice skills that would’ve taken me years of education and college to achieve. I could get PhD level knowledge through the use of AI and a couple of textbooks. Something that big colleges would charge me over $1 million for.
