Both these hosts need to have a serious chat with their preferred AI. There are several scenarios possible with our interaction with AI and automation. All except one which is a low percentage likelihood have pain associated with them during the transition. One which has about a 12 to 15% chance of coming true has catastrophic effects on society particularly in this study the United States. They most likely scenario reflects a reluctance and a slow acknowledge of the situation and Pain in the short term up till into the 2040s. With prudent guidance, some of which these hosts, if responsible could communicate, the pain can be minimized. After the disruptions things can very much get better, for the existing though reduced population with greater wealth, larger homes, a surplus of homes, larger national parks, and more free time to enjoy them. The sooner politicians and other influencers acknowledge and act on what’s coming the better off we will be and less pain we will endure.
