I've been using GPT-4o as a writing assistant for the past 2 months. And let me tell you....Why it is very useful, it's not particularly clever OR creative. It can come up with expanded/more detailed VERSIONS of good ideas, but coming up with interesting logically consistent ideas from SCRATCH is not its strong suit. Often, I'll ask it potential solutions for a narrative problem, and all its potential solutions are only DECENT at best.
