I don't have a dog in this discussion, and I also think it's pretentious af at the very least to consider your Midjourney renders "fine art", but I can't help but wonder what portrait artists back in the 1800's were saying about those newfangled cameras that produce a perfect portrait and all you have to do is point it at someone and press a button. Granted, cameras were using photons and not thousands of other portrait artists' works to generate their results, so that's a whole other side of the argument..
