What I still don't get about this AI boom: okay it's definitely in the interest of the 1% to cut costs on wages, if they employ fewer people, their profits wil increase, got it. BUT (even if the investment actually pays off with the invention of superb robot slaves, which we still don't know) who is going to BUY the products that the 1% will produce in their factories with AI robots if 90% of the human workforce will go without a job due to AI?Nobody will have the money to buy anything...
