Matt - I understand your thinking but this has happened before in the tech industry at the state level actually quite recently. The states came together to create StateRamp which was intended to help protect States as the moved to the cloud. This now operates as GovRAMP similar to FedRAMP. In this case the states came together to solve a real cybersecurity issue. This also could work again for AI and we can avoid the states rights questions and the federal government can essentially weigh in but not lead or push the States aside. I think you are being a little too kind to this administration and the hidden potential agenda. We can be inclusive and help drive AI innovations.
