I agree with your anti AI arguments, but I'm going to be real here. Your argument about not having especially good early work is just patently false. Art is definitely something that requires practice and even bad artists can get better, but there is a disconnect between people who think like an artist and those who don't. I've never been good at art, not even when I tried to be good. I can't make my hand do what my brain is trying to do. Now, this is why I will pay for an artist if what I am doing needs art (not common, but that's just how my field is.) If I buy art, it is for personal reasons. I recognize the value that real art brings to the table. These people don't value art or the artistic process. Your argument of if you want to be a good artist, you can is equally as bad an argument as the people that are ok with stealing people's art. This particular argument should be shelved.
