The whole discussion of UBI is misguided. UBI is noty the endpoint. It is a transition tool. The real endpoint is when you dont need income, taxes, money at all. When goods and services can simpleeither be provided or various technologiues (not just AI) have been converged in a systematic way so that basic needs are satisifed automatically. We already possess the technology to do most of that already we simply lack the vision or political will to upend the current system and upgrade to a better one that fits our current technological capabilities.
