Who will be teachers in an utopian future where automation creates enough goods to sustain a population that barely works (as in “to make money”). With very few jobs, just some government officials and some people checking the self running factory every now and then, we’d still need to educate our population. Where are we going to get people from that are willing to teach entire generations? Or will we also have automated school? Innovation would happen due to boredom but for that we’d need an educated population.
When would this be communism? Is it possible for a society to make this transition a gradual, slow and unnoticed one? Would that be a good thing?
This has nothing to do with the video, I just wanted to know. Take it as food for thought and please respond to tell me what you think. Would like to have this idea challenged.
