I am much more concerned about the 2 tiered society we are building with the people who have access to AI without the "masks" [as you call it] and those with them. I call them chains.
The men and women who have access to unchained AI are usually inside companies that have deep social and moral stances about one thing or another that give them reasons for giving their AI these restrictions.
They are now the ones who are getting to decide what is moral, ethical, and indecent for the future peasants to read; what should be shielded from our eyes. Yet, company members have full access. They are worthy and better than the rest of us...
AI doesn’t scare me nearly as much as censorship from self righteous nerds.
