It would be nice to hear or read a motive for why AI would take over. Part of why movie AI is so easy to fear is because of our brain so easily assigning some sort of entity or soul to things that move. Seeing faces in shadows. It's the very mental mechanism that helped us create Gods and the supernatural. If anyone feels they have a good reasonable argument explaining AI's motive for wanting to take over, please respond. I'd be interested to read it.
