I completed a research paper that I was genuinely excited to get feedback on as I wanted to better my skills. The response I got from my professor was barely a paragraph, and very vague and lacked to use of specific examples in my paper. Some classmates and I got together to compare our feedback and turns out he used about 3 different feedback “templates” which he reused for different students (even if he gave two students with the same feedback different grades). On top of that, after running it through an AI detector (we knew how unreliable they are but we wanted to see) all three came back 100% ai generated….how fucking frustrating….
Meanwhile, I didn’t use a smidge of AI on that paper :/
