So how does this work out? First the junior jobs disappear, then the mid-level jobs, then the senior ones. After that, the companies themselves collapse—because their consumers are all unemployed. With no economy left, do we go back to living in caves? Good job, humans. Nature will be happy to reclaim the earth.
Seriously though, cutting out junior roles entirely breaks the talent pipeline: there’s no one left to grow into senior positions. The transition will be rough, but companies need to pay humans and collaborate on a sustainable future. Otherwise, the economy collapses, and AI becomes a useless tool in a world with no users.
