As a programmer, I'm more concerned about the quality of the code that AI produces. I've seen some shockingly bad code over the years, and that code was in functional, complex applications. It was an absolute nightmare to deal with. Sure, it was functional, but not maintainable. If that's the code AI produces, it will be another fad like offshore development.
Sure, I'll try it out, but I will be very critical of the code produced. After all, I will need to maintain it.
