The only solution to this problem is to have the government write a law that AI can only be used to assist or supplement a current workers role and not replace it. This is basically how I use AI in my current role at work and I love it, but it's not able to take over my role... YET. I am a libertarian so even saying something like having the government write a law like this is anathema to my beliefs, but the future with AI taking most peoples jobs is a frightening and dystopia future full of riots and suicide and subjugation. Because of the way public companies work CEO's will have no choice but to continually cut workers to save costs and increase revenue and shareholder value.
