Im pretty much beyond fucked at this point. Ai was invented to automate repetitive processes no matter how complex as long it can be compartmentalized into much smaller jobs, engineering is one of these industries. I already feel like I've wasted my life pouring my life (20yo male) into a career that's bound to be replaced and I'm convinced that other parts of stem are already doomed as is with the current rate of ai advancement. That part I'm okay with, what I'm not okay with and actually feel like wasted human life, is that the only remaining parts of my creativity as a human being are already replaceable if not relatively sub par, (eg. Bespoke furniture, graphic design for events and gifts, webcomics, song and dance, socializing). I don't wanna be middle aged to wait for my next best chance at life, I would rather disappear and instantly die. Im fucked
