As an artist: You are giving artists way too much credit. Or rather, most 'artists' are actually just illustrators, which is why so many have lost their jobs to image generators. The process of most illustrations is just how you describe the image generators working, just applying the most likely facet to the most likely place.
AI art doesn't undermine art, it just increases the number of illustrators.
