I do think AI can be a valuable tool, if used correctly and properly. How it’s often being used for now, is wrong. But I don’t believe AI as a whole is bad. Maybe it’s just me, and my crappy attention span, but as a writer in particular, it’s so nice to have a companion of sorts who stores everything you’ve created, helps you organize it, helps you with plot points your struggling with, and even giving you ideas and plot points, or perspectives that you’ve never even thought of! At the end of the day, do what you will with it of course, you still need to be at the helm, at the end of the day. Like was said in the video about using Ai to write your reports and such for you, is crappy only if you submit it just as is. Getting help on things and changing what you’ve been given, if using it at all, is the important thing. At the end of the day, it still needs to come from you. Your heart, and soul. But I don’t think getting some help and inspiration from a companion who’s always available anytime you need them to be, is bad. It’s all about moderation. Sorry for the rant, and for not making much sense and rambling, I just don’t think all the Ai hate is completely necessary, just when it’s used poorly is it justified to hate on it.
