Okay another thing I just wanted to add, as a writer who dearly wishes she could draw (btw this is a rant, just a warning lol): For all the pro-ai users out there who oppose artists for not wanting their work to be used in ai-generators... you do realise that artists design basically _anything_ and _everything_ you see to some degree. In one way or another, pretty much anything man made that you can think of is 100% based on an artists' concept/s. That chair you're sitting in to make your ai images? Designed by an artist. That computer you're using to run your ai image generating website? Designed by an artist too. Oh, the _ai image generating website_ you're using to create the ai images in the first place? That too, to some degree. Or probably stolen too, actually. Artists are so important most have actual job titles because artistry is so important. Book covers? Illustrators. Public parks? Landscapers. Advertisements? Marketers/graphic designers. Commercially available products/consumables? Industrial designers. The television shows you watch? Directors, story boarders, animators, producers. The games you play? 3D modelists, character designers, concept artists. The clothes on your back were designed by fashion illustrators and designers. The walls that you live in and the floors you stand on were designed by architects. The chairs you sit in, the tables you eat at, and the beds you sleep in were all designed by furniture designers/conceptualists. You ai users who say you don't care about artists, or those who don't say it verbally but use ai anyway and _know_ that ai models are trained off of artists' hard work, you are disrespecting _all_ artists. As a result you should not feel entitled to the fruits of _their_ labour.
