To even care about creating AI, self driving cars etc ... while there are still hungry, unhoused people, and serious environmental issues that need addressing baffles me. Of all the things to put money and time into. Like why didn't we collectively focus first on creating a world where everyone is taken care of and comfortable - and the planet is safe from our pollution and overconsumption?? I really hate capitalism and all the endless problems it creates
