The AI being able to exactly replicate or near replicate someone piece is no different to someone who is studies someones work to be able to replicate it to near or perfect fidelity. So I don't think the replication on its own is not a problem as you can imagine some human with incredible artistic skill being able to do this with enough study. However, just like a person who can replicate someones work like and posts it, permission from the artist needs to be asked, credit should be given and it shouldn't be used for commercial purposes unless the artist agrees via some sort of contract.
