Companies don’t care if the code quality isn’t good; they just care if it’s good enough, because they just want to hire people who can replace 6 engineers & will work for a bag of peanuts, & besides, I don’t like ChatGPT’s co-founder anymore after he released vibe coding, because now it is taking over, & people are seeing programming as worthless, it’s not about if it is worthless, but it’s about if people think that it’s becoming worthless, & that is happening right now, & there is no new generation of programmers, because every new “programmer” is a either vibe coder, or somebody who cannot program without AI, I hate vibe coding & it should burn, but I also do recognize that at some point it will replace all of us., but just not within the time that Replits CEO thinks that it will.
