It was a fun watch, and the voice is really convincing. But I as much as I enjoined it and find ChatGPT impressive, I can't get out of my head that it's just a computer that takes in sentences, processes them and spits out the most likely continuations or responses to these sentences based on the data it was trained with. So trying to convince ChatGPT that it's conscious is like trying to convince a really sophisticated search engine of something, it doesn't really make much sense. And what we can learn from it is just what we could have learned by searching the web or by finding the prompts developers used for it to respond to these sorts of self-reflection questions.
