I feel there are two sides to this situation that are respectively at the extreme ends, One abusing it for personal gain, and the other so against it that they sabotage it. Unfortunately the third group that nobody mentions or considers are the people using AI to make up for genuine lack of skill to generate an original image (No theft of others art style) or to create concepts to use as inspiration and it frustrates me to be in this third party as the abusers have caused this situation and the consequences of the abusers actions are now degrading the performance of a tool I use when I need to create a headshot of a D&D character for example. It really sucks that the solution for this is simple but will never be implemented and thats to program AI image generators to reject signed pieces of art when being trained. However I do support you poisoning the well, just please don't do it to the starships, I use those for inspiration on Space Engineers.
Edit: Alternative solution, Force the AI to print a disclaimer/symbol that marks it as AI generated.
