Generative AI isn't even real sentient AI, it's a literally unthinking language model. This movement is serving to humanize actual unthinking machines. We can have this "convo" again when we develop actual self-aware machines with an arguable sentience, but as of right now, this is just a poor excuse to be racist in a socially acceptable manner. Which is disgusting.
