An art professor of mine said we should get comfortable using Ai almost like we would with pinterest and google. Perhaps the colors of a generated piece look nice or the placement is off but with a bit of tweaking it could be interesting composition! Everyone in class groaned but if AI was ethical, then it absolutely could be a useful tool for brainstorming! Not to replace the artist. That's what it should be used for. Ideas, and quick concepts while you're still looking for references on the side.
