I'm not an artist, but anytime I recognized AI art were from mismatched fingers, lack of emotion, the all too realistic version of a character, wonky body proportions, and so on. Yeah, it's general telling. But the one thing I always know is from the lighting and the art styles AI constantly use.
I'm not sure if it's the same for everyone, but it sure happened to me too many times. Sometimes, I don't even recognize the previous flaws until someone pointed it out.
