So UPS more or less has nothing to do with Ai. Most of these job cuts were from them closing smaller to mid size centers and collapsing them into nearby automated hubs or large hubs. My building recently had a smaller one collapse into it. You don't need the night sort manager of x building at the new y building when y already has one. Someone has to be let go. Trust me, this company will be the last company to make an Ai switch. We were still using VHS tapes in 2002, and dvds up until 2-3 years ago before going to cloud storage. We hate technology and advancements.
