It's funny, this is such a uniquely American view on this.
Like, if food production, energy production, if all this is automated that you'll just be poor and homeless.
Because at some point sewage and water were automated.
A water pipe is automated water being delivered to your house, it used to be someone's job.
And taking the sewage away used to be someone's job.
Once food and transport is automated, once housing is automated, the value of food and transport collapses and it kinda becomes free.
We will do other things.
Universal Basic Income will become a thing.
Not in America obviously because America is a dumpster fire but our valuable time will be spent doing other tasks.
We just won't have to labour in the fields anymore.
Again, obviously it's too late for America, you will never get over the concept of money.
