AI will wipe out the working class. At this moment, the 2nd largest healthcare network in the US is running parallel efficiency tests between AI based production and human based production in most of the financial/clerical jobs. These are jobs across the board: financial and accounting, yes, but also the reading of tests, clinical administration, coding, charge capture and review, and data analysis. AI is already better than humans when it comes to diagnosing from radiological images. When AI is proven to be equal in efficiency to those jobs, those jobs vanish overnight. And they will not return, period. It will be in the hundreds of thousands of workers. And it's right around the corner. Healthcare is going to be hit very, very hard early in the game.
