You bumz have a long way to go, this is not Uber 😂. You have a better chance at replacing nurses doctors and lawyers TBH, this job does not function within set rules and predictable environments. You haven't even replaced Uber drivers yet and you're still unloading the truck trailer with people still, but you somehow think autonomous trucks have arrived? Anybody investing money in the company featured is going to find that their money has disappeared. In the current state of technology an autonomous truck can traverse a very simple, predictable and short route, which doesn't account for much of the work available in this industry plus the autonomous trucks would still have to compete with independent owner-operators lol. The investors in that company are going to get robbed for sure. They said they had the autonomous truck working one day, but the next day they put a human back in the seat, yeah I understand why lol. I'll tell you right now the GPS technology doesn't even work well in this industry, but a truck is going to somehow be able to drive itself autonomously with the sketchy GPS that's available 😂. There's no point in even explaining how many different ways that is going to go wrong.
