yin and yang, good and bad, ms hao has one fundamental flaw in her reasoning. data centers are focussing on water reuse, recycling as it were in closed systems. this is the approach of si fabrication facilities and electronics packaging infrastructure as well. the farther they go, the less potable water will be used. the reasoning for locating the data centers in the desert has to do with natural evaporative cooling. there are pluses and minuses with all that is going on in this new internet based empire. unrestricted capitalism is what has led us to this situation and unrestricted ai may be our demise. restrictions however are not straightforward and we have the worst possible humans involved in developing those restrictions. bonehead politicians, bought and sold to vote on legislation they haven't even read, written by the empire makers themselves.
