The problem we face today with AI and many other global issues is scholars are being drowned out by the relentless infestation of greed,billionaires and wealthy investors. We have no watchdogs, no fail safes. I watched Jurrasic Park the other night and Jeff Goldblums character has a great line that sums it up. "You marveled at what you created" "but you never thought should you have created it".
