I understand the ethical concerns around AI art, and why many artists are upset. AI art isn't going away though, and barring global legislation, it's impossible to stop it. The issue with legislation is that it's such a huge grey area - at what point is something fair use? At what point is the new work transformative enough to be free from copy right. The reality is that most people don't care where the art came from, only that they enjoy the final product. I think there will always be a place for artists, but at the same time, I think it would be beneficial for artists to embrace using the AI as a tool themselves to become even more productive at their craft.
