I have another reason in mind, but I'd need a neuroscientist or a psychiatrist to tell me if it's a good one : maybe us humans, when we have a "conversation" with an AI, we're conscious of the fact that it's a machine, but a part of our brain will treat this interaction as any other we'd have with a human being. Just like para social relations we have with influencers or TV series characters, there's an unconscious part of our mind that doesn't know some people aren't real or really there.
Now my point is, if we allow ourselves to behave like assholes with one "being" we interact with, what's stopping that from becoming a bad habit we'd then have with anyone we talk to ?
