My issue with someone like Sam is that they found a comfort zone that allows them to commodify their art only as a normal occupation. He realized what gets more clicks and makes him more money, so he just does the same drawings over and over. No innovation, so significance, just pretty pictures that feel like a task to pay the bills. Many artists come to this end and become redundant to the medium, not looking less instrumentalized than the A.I. they criticize.
