I feel appreciated if someone tries to draw in my art style or generate it. Because maybe they can't draw but they clearly like my art style if they do that. I wouldn't appreciate it if they use it for profit, marketing, or clout. I wouldn't appreciate them lying about it being AI. If they're up front about it being AI, it's non-profit, and they clearly credit me as the source, then I'm not quite as bothered by it, personally. I guess I'm less bothered by AI itself and more by the way people use AI. There's a very small window of use that I, as an artist or hobby voice actor, don't really have an issue with. And there's a large amount of uses that I DO take issue with just like everyone else. I suppose the issue with not being able to trust people with AI is the biggest problem and a very risky one. Otherwise, I kinda think they shouldn't have done it in the first place if we've warned ourselves about AI for decades as is. But it exists now and we're kinda screwed. It's going to evolve and not go anywhere. No amount of complaining seems to matter. So I rather shift my focus on learning how to coexist with it in the least harmful way possible.
