Seeing people trying to engage with ai in any manner inconsistent with how they would engage with a search engine always makes me feel confident that AI will never gain (or at least compete with) sentience. Trying to get an AI to be logically consistent, and being brickwalled as you discover it has no logic or axioms, serves as a reminder that the AI only exists in the instantaneous moment that it selects a word from it's dictionary. Before the response is generated it does not exist, and therefore cannot ever, while in the form of a language model, rival anything resembling human conscience.
