Pretty sure its different this time man. We have computer components the size of a bacterias nutsac and we are only getting better, we have figured out how to make a digital brain, we are only just trying to figure out how to make it autonomous, in other words, conscious. If this happens no other human achievement will EVER surpass it. and we are boned. It would be however, an amazing achievement.
People would argue we wont reach that point, points like "it wont have a soul" (i dont believe in souls outside of energy) or "it wont really be sentient" but thats the beauty of it, people are underestimating the general perpose transformer tech, its literally based on a neural network, if we continue to reverse engineer the brain we are only missing a few steps realistically to give it life 😂
